This small decorative Yale Regatta Varsity Oar in a Book Box is handcrafted. The oar's book box measures overall approx. 20.5" inches in length x 1.25" inches height and 2.5" inches in width.
The Yale Regatta Varsity Oar is modeled from an authentic College Eight racing rowing shell oar. The oar is handcrafted of solid mahogany wood. The oar's blade tip is painted with a monogram for Yale. The decorative book box has a picture of a Harvard and Yale rowers and a Eight rowing team holding a College Eight racing shell at the bottom. Inside the box is a short history of the vintage college sport of boat racing. The oar can be removed from the book box.
