This 1973 Mad Max Pursuit Special V8 Interceptor automobile model is fully built & assembled and ready for display (not a kit).
The 1973 Mad Max Pursuit Special V8 Interceptor car model is completely hand-built & handcrafted of metal with a metal frame. The supercharger blower, spoiler, mirrors and all other parts are welded into position (no parts are glued on). The exhaust straight pipe outlets are welded on small machine screws giving the model a bit of a funky look. The wheels roll.
This Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe car model is hand painted and the license plate & “Maintain Right” emblem are decals. There are seats, right hand drive steering wheel, stick shift and minor details on the dash board.
The Pursuit Special, also referred to as the Last of the V8 Interceptors, is the iconic black GT Falcon muscle car featuring a distinctive supercharger driven by the title character Mad Max during much of the Mad Max franchise, where it appears in Mad Max, and the 1st half of Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
