This high quality, highly detailed, America's Cup 1930 Shamrock V yacht model is fully assembled and ready for display (not a kit). You just need to raise the mast and adjust the rigging (lowered mast saves on shipping).
Please note: This model is purposely displayed mounted on it's stand with the bow higher than the stern, this feature can not be adjusted.
The Shamrock V Yacht model is scratched built plank on bulkhead by skillful and creative master craftsmen. It was built according to scale through original plans, pictures and drawings.
What makes this a very unique model sailboat is the exposed ribs, you can see right through this model boat. All of the framing has been sanded smooth and varnished with many coats.
Only high quality wood and metal were used to build the model, absolutely no plastic parts. This beautiful model is resting on a solid wooden stand with a metal name plate imprinted with “Shamrock 1930”.
This model measures 38" long from bow to stern. It's a unique and beautiful model yacht that will be a conversation piece for any room or office.
