The nautical knot coaster's case is handcrafted of solid Rosewood with a black finish. The holder has chrome banded corners and an inlaid chrome anchor on top. The coasters are made of white rope woven with a sailor's Turk's head knot, just turned flat. The coaster actually absorbs the beads of humidity before they roll from your glass to coaster to table and they are unbreakable & washable. Your glass will balance on the upper most knot facets (all are level), just as well as on any other coaster.
