This handcrafted Mushroom Ship's Anchor is constructed in a USA machine shop of high quality solid FLAT SHEET STEEL (approx 3/16" thick) and is coated with a baked on black powder coated (exterior polyester) finish that withstands sea salt air, adverse outdoor weather conditions and chipping.
The ship's boat anchor is constructed of flat sheet metal (approx 3/16" thick). The chain is made of plastic to keep the weight of the anchor down. This anchor's silhouette is very similar to a Mushroom mooring anchor (minus the one pointed fluke) which are used to permanently moor small sailboats and up to 200' motor vessels. This nautical hanging anchor decor is designed to be mounted on a wall inside or outdoors but you can be creative and display the anchor as you choose.
This solid metal mushroom ship's anchor is shipped unassembled and is very easily put back together with a Phillips head screwdriver. The knock down version allows for reduced shipping costs because of the smaller package.
