This handcrafted flat metal Navy ship's anchor is constructed of FLAT SHEET STEEL (approx 3/16" thick) in a USA machine shop of high quality solid steel and is coated with a baked on black powder coated (exterior polyester) finish that withstands sea salt air, adverse weather conditions and chipping.
The traditional Navy ship's anchor is constructed of flat sheet steel (approx 3/16" thick). The chain is made of plastic to keep the weight of the anchor down. This nautical decor is designed to be mounted on a wall inside/outside but you can be creative and display the anchor as you choose.
This solid steel Navy ship's anchor is shipped unassembled and is very easily put back together with a phillips head screwdriver. The knock down version allows for reduced shipping costs because of the smaller package.
