The helmsman balance toy is hand painted and has an antiqued rich aged patina finish. This teeter totter toy is handmade of recycled hand cut heavy sheet iron metal. The counterweight is made of cast iron.
Send the helmsman on his voyage by lifting and releasing the counter weight, he will then be steering back & forth as the winds and waves rock his ship.
This nautical design is copyrighted. It is an authentic functioning sky hook replica of an 18th & early 19th century classic nautical accessory. Comes complete with a desktop stand but you can mount your balance toy on any convenient perch.
